From her older sibling&#8217;s Kiss records to the Country and Western 8 tracks in the family motor home to her grandparents big band and polka music, her unique style is the result of a \u00c2\u00a0lifetime of diverse musical influence.<\/p>\n<p>After suffering a broken heart that she thought might kill her she decided that there was only one thing to do to fix the problem&#8230;sing the blues. Out loud. In front of people.<\/p>\n<p>In 2007 Mindi debuted at San Francisco&#8217;s Jazz At Pearls to a sold out audience. Since then Mindi has performed at other Bay Area clubs such as Anna&#8217;s Jazz Island, Coda Jazz Club, Cafe Du Nord, Amnesia and most recently The Rrazz Room at Hotel Nikko. She also makes a regular appearance at MBar Hollywood<\/p>\n<p>The Band:<\/p>\n<p>Brian Hill- Guitar<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/brianhill.downloadsnow.net\/\">Brian Hill<\/a> has been performing jazz, rock and a variety of other styles of music in the SF Bay area and beyond for almost 20 years. He&#8217;s currently a member of the Steven Espaniola (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.stevenespaniola.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.stevenespaniola.com\/<\/a>) band, contributing to Steven&#8217;s unique approach to traditional Hawaiian music. Brian is also a member of Stymie and the Pimp Jones Luv Orchestra &#8211; a 12-piece funk\/rock\/ska band as well as Murray, RJFski and Hill a jazz\/groove improv trio with which he has toured Thailand in the Southern Thailand Jazz and Blues Festival.
